Alejandro Tabilo confirms Wimbledon debut schedule

Chilean tennis player Alejandro Tabilo has learned his schedule for his debut at Wimbledon, the season's third Grand Slam tournament. Tabilo, currently ranked 33rd in the world, arrives at the prestigious event without any victories on the grass-court circuit this year.

Known as "Jano," Tabilo is slated to play against Poland's Kamil Majchrzak, ranked 46th, in his first-round match. The encounter is scheduled as the first match on Court 5 on Tuesday, with play set to commence at 6:00 AM local time (10:00 GMT).

This marks a significant return to Wimbledon for Tabilo, who missed the 2025 edition due to a severe abdominal muscle tear. The Toronto-born player has faced Majchrzak twice before, winning both encounters. His most recent victory against the Polish player was at this year's Roland Garros. If Tabilo replicates that performance, he will advance to face the winner of the match between Italy's Mattia Bellucci and American Zachary Svajda in the next round.
