Alessandro Di Battista, a prominent figure formerly with the 5 Star Movement and now vice president of the Schierarsi association, has been hospitalized in Cuba under serious conditions. The 48-year-old reportedly suffered a severe headache and fell ill during his trip to the island.

Initially reported to be in Havana, Di Battista is actually receiving care in a hospital in Santa Clara, a city located approximately 300 kilometers from the Cuban capital. Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani confirmed he is in contact with the Italian Embassy in Cuba to ascertain Di Battista's condition and assured that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would provide all necessary assistance to him and his family.
