After a demanding week that saw him compete in both Spain and Portugal, Pițigoi has solidified his position in the top three of the European Hill Climb Championship's Group 2.

Driving his Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, Pițigoi navigated the challenging circuits of Spain and Portugal, demonstrating remarkable skill and resilience. Despite facing varied weather conditions and distinct track characteristics, he secured a fifth-place finish in his group and eighth in the tourism division at the Braga Fraião event in Portugal. This consistent performance is a testament to his dedication and the hard work of his team.

As the sole Romanian competitor aiming for a full season in the FIA-sanctioned continental competition, Pițigoi carries the hopes of a nation. His current third-place standing, with 40 points, places him in a strong position to achieve his goal of a podium finish. It was a demanding week, with two races one after the other. Immediately after Spain where we had very capricious weather, I went straight to Portugal where we found a completely different, much faster track and excellent weather conditions. I am happy that we managed to achieve our goal in these two very different stages. I am still in the Top 3 and I believe I can finish the year there, up on the podium.
