Algeria Hosts International Conference on Cancer Research

Algeria's capital, Algiers, became a hub for global health expertise this week, hosting an international conference dedicated to cancer research. The event, held at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center, convened leading researchers, specialists, and experts from Algeria and abroad.

Under the patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the conference highlighted Algeria's commitment to prioritizing health, national research, and innovation as key drivers of national development. Minister of Health Mohamed Seddik Aït Messaoudene emphasized that the gathering aligns with the nation's vision for public policy and its recently implemented National Strategy for Cancer Prevention and Control for 2025-2035.

The conference agenda featured scientific presentations and workshops focused on advancing research, fostering innovation, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence.
