Alleged Marfin Arson Coordinator Held in High-Security Cell

A 42-year-old man, identified as the coordinator of a fatal arson attack at Marfin, was transferred to Nafplio Judicial Prison on Friday under stringent security measures. The transfer, which began in Athens around 8:30 a.m., concluded two hours later with the accused placed in a high-security cell.

Greek police organized a special operation for the transfer. The accused traveled alone in a secure transport vehicle, accompanied by five officers. A convoy of patrol cars and motorcycles provided additional security. Notably, the accused had no contact with his co-accused, a second 42-year-old man, as they were held in separate facilities in Athens.

The second accused is expected to be transferred to Malandrino Prison within the next week, also under strict security protocols. Police continue their investigation to locate two more individuals from the anarchist movement who are suspected of involvement in the incidents.
