Alleged victim of Alan Jones made broadcaster soft-boiled eggs with soldiers and ironed his underpants, court told

A former driver for prominent Australian radio broadcaster Alan Jones alleges he was subjected to indecent assault and sexual touching during his employment. The driver, identified in court as Complainant C, claims that beyond his duties, he was required to perform personal services for Jones. These alleged tasks included preparing Jones's breakfast of soft-boiled eggs with bread soldiers and ironing his underpants. The court also heard that Complainant C was asked to clean the radio host's bathroom at the 2GB station. Complainant C told the Downing Centre local court that he felt “star-struck” when Jones, now 85, offered him a position as his driver in the mid-2000s, reportedly offering $40,000 a year. He described it as his dream job at the time. Alan Jones faces 22 charges related to indecent assault and sexual touching. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
