Almost one in three internet users in Croatia uses generative AI

Nearly one in three internet users in Croatia used a generative artificial intelligence tool in 2025, according to data from the country’s statistics office. The figure highlights how AI is moving into everyday learning, organization and creative work.

Younger people use the tools most often, especially those aged 16 to 34. Almost half of generative AI users apply it for educational purposes. Eurostat data points to a broader trend: 63.8% of people aged 16 to 24 in the European Union used generative AI during 2025, while 39.3% used it for formal education.
