Alpbach Forum to Conclude with 1940s-Style Manifesto

The European Forum Alpbach, a prominent annual gathering of leaders from politics, science, and business, is set to conclude its 2024 conference with a significant declaration: a manifesto inspired by the traditions of the 1940s. This year's event, held in the Tyrolean mountain village of Alpbach, will operate under the theme 'How Europe Wins.'

Othmar Karas, the President of the Forum Alpbach, clarified that the theme is not intended to signify a competitive victory. Instead, it focuses on Europe's capacity to actively shape its own future. This proactive approach underscores a desire for the continent to define its path forward independently.

Karas highlighted that the overarching goal is for Europe to take control of its destiny. He stated that a critical element in achieving this is the absence of fear.
