Always Ready Thrashes Real Oruro 4-2 in Copa Bolivia Opener

Always Ready began their Copa Bolivia campaign with a decisive 4-2 victory over Real Oruro at the Villa Ingenio stadium in El Alto. The home team dominated much of the match, with Carmelo Algarañaz and Juan Godoy each netting a brace to secure the win.

Always Ready took an early lead in the 12th minute when Juan Godoy headed in a cross from José Herrera. Although Always Ready missed a penalty opportunity and the rebound shortly after, they regained the lead just before halftime. Carmelo Algarañaz scored in the 45th minute after receiving a long ball, making it 2-1.

Real Oruro managed to equalize twice in the second half, first through Leandro Corulo and later via Juan Carlos Montenegro, who capitalized on defensive lapses. However, Algarañaz restored Always Ready's advantage with a skillful backheel goal in the 67th minute. The final goal came from a penalty converted by Juan Godoy in the 72nd minute after a handball in the box. Real Oruro finished the match with ten men following the expulsion of Juan Pablo Gómez.
