American metal veterans Megadeth announce farewell concert in Denmark

After more than four decades on stage, American metal band Megadeth has announced their farewell tour, "Breakout: Hibernation of the Nations." The tour is set to bring the band to Denmark next year for a final performance.

The legendary group will play at K.B. Hallen in Frederiksberg on Saturday, March 27, 2027. The announcement was made by the band and concert promoter All Things Live.

Megadeth's 64-year-old frontman, Dave Mustaine, described the tour not as a goodbye, but as a celebration. "It's not about saying goodbye - it's about celebrating everything we've built together over the last four decades," Mustaine said. He added, "Every city has its own story. Every audience has given us unforgettable memories, and we want to come back and celebrate that with the fans who have made it all possible."

According to All Things Live, Megadeth's first concert in Denmark was also held at K.B. Hallen in 1990, as part of their "Rust in Peace" tour. This upcoming show marks a return to a venue with significant history for the band in the country.
