Amorepacific Chairman's younger daughter marries consultant

Seo Ho-jung, the younger of the two daughters of Amorepacific Group Chairman Suh Kyung-bae, tied the knot with a consultant from a foreign company on Saturday, June 21st. The wedding ceremony was held privately at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul.

The groom, who graduated from a university in the United States, works for a foreign investment and management consulting firm. The couple reportedly met through mutual acquaintances. The ceremony was an intimate affair, attended by family members and invited guests.

Seo Ho-jung, born in 1995, graduated from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration in 2018. She joined Amorepacific Group's affiliate, Osulloc, as a new employee in July of the previous year. Her role at Osulloc involves product development and marketing. This follows a period where she received significant stock transfers from her father, raising questions about future succession plans within the Amorepacific empire, especially given her elder sister's extended leave.
