Ana Rucner and Vlado Kalember celebrate son Darian's 20th birthday

Croatian cellist Ana Rucner recently celebrated a significant family milestone: her son Darian Kalember's 20th birthday. Rucner marked the occasion with an emotional tribute on social media, sharing a photograph of her son.

Darian, whose father is the well-known musician Vlado Kalember, immediately drew attention for his remarkable physical resemblance to his father. Rucner accompanied the birthday post with a musical dedication, playing the song "Ljubio bih, nemam koga" (I would kiss, but I have no one), one of Vlado Kalember's famous hits, in the background of the photo. This choice added a layer of family symbolism, connecting the son to his father's decades-long career in the music industry.

Ana Rucner has previously spoken about the strong resemblance between Darian and Vlado Kalember. While acknowledging the striking similarity to his father, she also noted that as Darian matures, her own characteristics become more apparent in him. "He is a simple young man. Physically he strongly resembles Vlado, but he certainly has mine too. As he gets older, I see my own traits in him more clearly...", she once shared.

Darian was born in 2006, the same year Ana Rucner and Vlado Kalember married. Although their marriage lasted eight years, they have maintained a cordial relationship as co-parents to Darian. Kalember himself has spoken about the challenges Darian faced growing up with famous parents, including certain prejudices. Darian's upbringing was influenced by both his mother's classical music career and his father's established presence on the domestic music scene.
