Anadolu Efes takes commanding 2-1 series lead over Fenerbahçe Beko

Anadolu Efes has seized a crucial 2-1 lead in their playoff series against Fenerbahçe Beko, securing a hard-fought 102-93 victory in a game that saw significant scoring from both sides. The win, achieved on their home court, puts Anadolu Efes one step closer to advancing in the championship.

Fenerbahçe Beko started strong, with Tarık Biberovic hitting consecutive three-pointers to establish an early 9-0 lead. However, Anadolu Efes responded with a 7-0 run after a timeout, narrowing the gap. Despite Fenerbahçe's efforts to pull away again, Shane Larkin's clutch three-pointers kept Anadolu Efes in contention. The first quarter ended with Anadolu Efes holding a narrow 29-26 advantage.

The second quarter saw a back-and-forth battle, with Fenerbahçe Beko managing to take a slim 50-49 lead into halftime. The third quarter remained tight until Anadolu Efes, led by Dozier, went on a significant run to build an 11-point lead, finishing the quarter at 76-66.

In the final period, Fenerbahçe Beko attempted to close the deficit, but critical three-pointers from Rodrigue Beaubois and Larkin helped Anadolu Efes maintain control. The home team capitalized on Fenerbahçe's mistakes to seal the 102-93 win. Larkin finished with a game-high 31 points, complemented by Dozier's 15 and Loyd's 23. For Fenerbahçe, Biberovic poured in 29 points, and Baldwin added 24.

The series, which determines qualification for the finals, will continue with Game 4 on Sunday, June 7. Anadolu Efes will once again host the match at the Turkcell Basketball Development Center.
