ANALYSIS: “We keep talking about learning, but the lessons should be learned”

Estonia's national basketball team has come through one of its bleakest recent stretches. A poor performance in Hungary was followed by an even weaker display against Finland, despite a more determined effort.

The team started the Finland game positively in front of a full house of 7,068 at Unibet Arena. Estonia played boldly and with energy, and, despite several smaller dips, generally controlled the course of the game.

The team also handled Finland's sometimes highly aggressive defense well at first. But the overall performance still left Estonia facing the same question raised by the headline: how long can the team keep talking about learning when the same mistakes continue to appear?
