Andrea Bocelli to perform at FIFA World Cup 2026 countdown concerts

Andrea Bocelli will lend his voice to the FIFA World Cup 2026 countdown concerts, a global celebration of hospitality, cultural diversity, and passion. The renowned Italian tenor announced his participation in the FIFA Countdown Concert in Mexico City on June 10.

"Football has a unique way of uniting hearts, generations, and nations," Bocelli stated, expressing his excitement for the tournament's ability to bring people together across continents and cultures.

The FIFA Countdown Concerts will comprise three events linking Mexico, the United States, and Canada, with worldwide broadcasts. Mexico City's lineup includes Belinda, Elena Rose, Los Ángeles Azules, and Bocelli. Toronto's event features AHI, Wyclef Jean, Bryan Adams, Nora Fatehi, The Beaches, and Vegedream, while Los Angeles will host Ava Max, BIA, Davido, and Major Lazer.

TikTok will serve as the main platform for real-time countdown updates. The Mexico City concert, starting at 5 PM local time, is a collaboration with the Grammy Awards. It will showcase artists from the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album, alongside emerging talents and special guests. The full concert and behind-the-scenes content will be available on FIFA's VüMe Live platform the following day.
