Anisimova makes winning return to Wimbledon

Anisimova, who suffered a decisive defeat in the title match last year, showed no signs of lingering pressure as she dominated her North Macedonian opponent. Gjorcheska, making history as the first player from her nation to compete in a Grand Slam main draw, offered some resistance late in the match. However, Anisimova's superior play proved too much, and she closed out the contest in 61 minutes.
