Anna-Carina Woitschack wins 'Let's Dance'

Singer Anna-Carina Woitschack has won the latest season of the RTL dance competition «Let's Dance». She and her professional partner Evgeny Vinokurov were crowned "Dancing Star 2026" after a flawless performance in the finale.

The duo achieved a perfect score of 90 out of 90 possible jury points across their three final dances. Even the usually strict judge Joachim Llambi was full of praise. "If you haven't convinced the people with the dance, then I don't know what we're still doing here in this event. Then we can go home," Llambi stated after Woitschack's Paso Doble.

Their final performance was particularly creative, incorporating Woitschack's family background as puppeteers. The singer and her partner were suspended by marionette strings during the dance. Woitschack succeeds Diego Pooth, son of media personality Verona Pooth, who won the previous season.

This season of «Let's Dance» was marked by unpredictability, with no single contestant dominating. The audience also made surprising decisions, such as eliminating singer Nadja Benaissa despite high jury scores. The season also featured emotional and unusual moments, including singer Ross Antony continuing a dance after being hit in the face and bleeding.
