Announcements: Memorial Service, New Institute President, Policy Contest, and Exhibitions Scheduled

The Juksan Jo Bong-am Teacher's Memorial Association and the Jo Bong-am Teacher's Bereaved Family Association are jointly hosting the 'Juksan Jo Bong-am 67th Anniversary Memorial Service' on July 31st at 11 a.m. in Mangwoo Historical and Cultural Park, Jungnang-gu, Seoul. The Korea Legislation Research Institute has appointed Lee Guk-un, a professor in the Law Department at Handong Global University, as its 15th president. His term will last for three years.

The Korea Racing Authority is running a public policy proposal contest until August 17th to incorporate public opinion into its management and policies. The contest seeks ideas for creating a 'Horse Park People Want to Visit' and proposals for 'Spreading Horse Culture in Daily Life.' A total of six excellent proposals will be selected. Several cultural and artistic events are also scheduled. The Amorepacific Foundation is holding an exhibition titled 'Nature in the City' using recycled cosmetic containers until August 15th at the Yongsan Cultural Foundation in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The Seoul Design Foundation, in collaboration with Design Miami, will present 'Design Miami Seoul 2026' from August 31st to September 6th at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Jung-gu, Seoul. This event will explore the experiences created by design across different times, places, cultures, and people, under the theme 'Together, Resonance.'
