APC Chairman Yilwatda marks birthday with extensive medical outreach in Taraba

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, chose to celebrate his 58th birthday by initiating the second phase of a comprehensive medical outreach in Taraba State, emphasizing his commitment to the welfare of vulnerable Nigerians. Yilwatda explained that his rural upbringing provided him with firsthand knowledge of the difficulties faced by people in such communities, motivating his decision to bring essential medical services to Taraba.

The ongoing medical outreach has recorded an impressive tally of over 300 surgeries and 572 dental procedures. Beneficiaries requiring specialized treatment have also received attention, offering a critical lifeline to individuals and families struggling with the high cost of healthcare in Nigeria. The initiative directly addresses the financial barriers that often prevent low-income families from accessing necessary medical care.

These are not mere statistics. They are fathers, mothers, children, brothers and sisters whose stories have been given a new chapter. One surgery can change a life.

Yilwatda expressed deep emotion witnessing the beneficiaries, particularly the children, who maintained smiles despite their pain. He stressed that each procedure represents a life given a new opportunity, urging against reducing beneficiaries to mere statistics.
