APC Disowns Purported List of Successful Candidates, Labels It Fake

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially refuted a circulating list of successful candidates from its recent primaries, labeling the document as fake and unauthorized. Felix Morka, the party's National Publicity Secretary, issued a statement urging the public and party members to disregard the publication.

Morka clarified that the APC has not yet released any official list of successful candidates. He assured that those who emerged victorious will be notified through official channels and will receive certificates of return in line with established procedures. This clarification comes as the party is still in the process of internal collation and verification of results.

The party's internal processes are reportedly ongoing following the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) window for political parties to submit candidate names for the upcoming 2027 general elections. The APC's move aims to prevent misinformation and ensure transparency in the candidate nomination process.
