APC supporters hail Abiola after Lagos Assembly win

Gbenga Abiola, widely known as Agbelebu, has secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination for Agege Constituency I in Lagos State, following the party's primaries. His emergence has triggered celebrations among supporters, residents, and party faithful across the constituency.

Supporters, under the banner of the Agbelebu Solidarity Forum, described Abiola's victory as a testament to his deep grassroots support and extensive political engagement within the constituency. They highlighted his long-standing involvement in grassroots mobilization, youth empowerment initiatives, humanitarian interventions, and efforts toward political inclusion as key factors contributing to his success.

Abiola expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and confidence shown by supporters, residents, and party members. He emphasized that the movement is centered on the people, service, grassroots development, and providing hope for the younger generation. He also acknowledged the significant role of the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, in shaping infrastructural growth, political stability, and grassroots development in Agege over the years.

Looking ahead to the general election, the APC candidate urged for reconciliation within the party and called for unity among members and stakeholders.
