The All Progressives Congress (APC) has secured a comprehensive victory in the Gombe State local government elections, winning the chairmanship and councillorship seats in all 11 local government areas and their respective development areas. The Gombe State Independent Electoral Commission (GOSIEC) officially announced the results on Saturday, confirming the ruling party's complete sweep.

GOSIEC Chairman Abdullahi Talatse declared the APC candidates duly elected, stating, "Having received, collated and verified the results submitted by our returning officers, and in accordance with the powers conferred on the Commission, I hereby declare the candidates of the All Progressives Congress duly elected as chairmen of the 11 local government councils of Gombe State." This outcome reaffirms the APC's dominance in local governance within the state following the 2026 council elections.
