Applications Open for 23rd Akbank Short Film Festival

The 23rd Akbank Short Film Festival has opened its application period, continuing its tradition of showcasing new productions, creative approaches, and diverse narrative forms in the short film genre since 2004. The festival is set to take place from March 16 to March 24, 2027.

Aspiring filmmakers can submit their work for consideration in several competitive sections. These include the National Competition, International Competition, Forum Screenplay Competition, and the New Talents Short Film Competition. Applications for all categories officially commenced on July 1, 2026, and will remain open until December 11, 2026.
