Applications open for 'Pledge for Tomorrow' program's fourth phase

Hepsiburada, in collaboration with the Women in Science and Technology Association (SistersLab), has opened applications for the fourth phase of its "Pledge for Tomorrow" program. Launched on August 12, International Youth Day, this initiative aims to equip young individuals with the skills needed for the digital economy and modern workforce.

To date, the program has reached over 500 university students. The new phase plans to support an additional 250 young people, with a particular focus on students pursuing engineering and related fields at state universities across Anatolia. This strategic focus aims to broaden opportunities for those outside major urban centers.

A key feature of the "Pledge for Tomorrow" program is its commitment to gender equality, implementing an 80% female quota. This has resulted in women making up a significant majority of past participants, and the program intends to maintain this balance in the upcoming phase, with 200 of the 250 new participants expected to be women.

Participants will receive comprehensive training and workshops covering essential areas such as e-commerce, digital marketing, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and career planning. Specialized modules include web design, prompt writing, professional networking, interview techniques, effective communication, and understanding basic labor rights, all designed to ease the transition into professional life.

Officials highlighted that ensuring equal access to digital economy opportunities contributes to a sustainable future and that confidence-building projects amplify social impact. The top 10 students completing the program will receive additional educational support and one-on-one mock interview sessions with HR professionals. All participants will be awarded a certificate of completion.
