ARCA updated the monotributo table and enabled recategorization: when and how much monthly contributions will increase

The Argentine Revenue and Customs Control Agency (ARCA) has updated the monotributo tax table, incorporating a 16.85% inflation adjustment for the first half of the year. These new values will be effective from July to December and serve as the basis for the second recategorization period, which is now open and will continue until August 5. The annual revenue ceiling for monotributistas has been raised to 126,610,838.75 pesos. For instance, individuals in the lowest category, Category A, must have annual income not exceeding 12,009,410.45 pesos. Monthly payments for taxes, retirement contributions, and social security have also increased by 16.85%, with new amounts taking effect in August. For Category A, the total monthly payment will be 49,527.18 pesos. For Category B, with an annual income limit of 17,595,182.74 pesos, the monthly payment will be 56,379.08 pesos. The highest category, K, will require a monthly payment of 1,614,446.04 pesos for service providers and 702,103.24 pesos for those in commerce. The update also adjusted other parameters, including the maximum price for products sold by monotributistas, now set at 716,840.77 pesos, and the annual rental amounts for business premises. Recategorization is mandatory for taxpayers whose income or other economic activity variables necessitate a change in their category. This process is conducted exclusively online.
