Cargo companies in Turkey will maintain their regular operating schedules on Monday, May 25, as the day has not been declared an official public holiday. This clarification comes as many consumers and businesses prepare for the upcoming Kurban Bayram holiday.

The Turkish presidency declared Monday, May 25, as a full administrative leave day for public sector employees. However, this decision specifically applies to government institutions and does not extend to the private sector, including private cargo firms. Therefore, shipping and delivery services will continue as usual, with branches accepting packages and delivery vehicles operating.

Normal operations will cease during the official Kurban Bayram holiday period. The holiday officially begins on Tuesday, May 26, at 1:00 PM and concludes on the evening of Saturday, May 30. During these days, all cargo companies will switch to holiday mode, meaning branches will be closed, and no deliveries will be made.

Full operational normalcy is expected to resume on Monday, June 1, 2026, when cargo firms will return to their standard business hours and delivery schedules.
