Argentina: August pension payment schedule for retirees with DNI ending in 4

Argentine retirees and pensioners whose national identity documents (DNI) end in the number 4 are scheduled to receive their August pensions on Friday, August 14, provided they are receiving the minimum benefit amount. This payment includes a $70,000 bonus, bringing the total to $489,775.92.

For those receiving non-contributory pensions (PNC), payment is scheduled for Thursday, August 12. Pensions that exceed the minimum amount will be disbursed later in the month, on Thursday, August 27. These higher pensions will include a 1.89% adjustment, reflecting the 1.9% inflation recorded in June.

The monthly adjustments are calculated using inflation percentages with two decimal places to determine the exact updated value. The bonus of $70,000 has remained unchanged for over two years and is primarily intended for recipients of minimum pensions, PNC, and the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM).

For beneficiaries whose pensions are higher than the minimum, the bonus is distributed proportionally until it reaches the maximum combined amount of $489,775.92. The updated amounts apply to minimum provisional benefits, contributory provisional benefits managed by Anses, the PUAM, and various non-contributory pensions, including those for disability, old age, and mothers with seven or more children.
