Argentina reaches World Cup final after dramatic win over England

Argentina has reached the World Cup final after a dramatic 2-1 victory over England in Atlanta. Lautaro Martinez scored the decisive goal in second-half stoppage time, sending his team through to face Spain for the championship.

Lionel Messi provided assists for both of Argentina's goals. Martinez, visibly emotional after the match, spoke about fulfilling a lifelong dream. "When my father first bought me cleats, I dreamed of this moment," he said. "My parents watched me score, my child watched me score... I am enjoying this."

England held strong for an hour, but fatigue set in, allowing Argentina to mount their comeback. "They tired and that helped us," Martinez explained. "We developed our game then. They couldn't stop us anymore."

Argentina, the defending champions, will be seeking their fourth World Cup title when they play Spain at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Four years ago, Argentina triumphed over France in the final.
