Argentina's national school calendar for 2026 outlines varied winter holiday dates across its 24 jurisdictions, with most breaks scheduled for July. The Council of Education has confirmed these dates, allowing families nationwide to plan accordingly. While the exact timing differs by province, the recess typically falls in mid-year. For instance, Buenos Aires and CABA will observe their winter break from July 20 to July 31, aligning with Chaco and Santiago del Estero. Other regions like Cordoba, Entre Rios, Mendoza, San Juan, San Luis, and Santa Fe will have their holidays earlier, from July 6 to July 17. The majority of provinces, however, will have their break from July 13 to July 24.
