Argentina's Karina Milei Visits Google Offices, Discusses Operations and Projects

Karina Milei, Argentina's Secretary General of the Presidency, met with executives at Google's Buenos Aires offices on Wednesday. The visit focused on understanding the company's operations within Argentina, its regional presence, and its key development projects in the country.

During the meeting, Google officials provided an overview of the company's activities. They highlighted their workforce, local and regional initiatives, and their contributions to technological advancement and innovation, as detailed in a company statement.

The discussion also specifically addressed the Google Arts & Culture Tango project. This initiative involved Marca País, a government entity, in generating content for the platform. The visit included a tour of Google's facilities.

Several officials from PromArgentina and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship accompanied Milei. Representing Google were its country manager for Argentina, the director general of Google Cloud for the Southern Cone, and managers for government affairs and public policy.
