Argentina's Minimum Pension to Reach $674,977 in June With Bonus and Aguinaldo

Argentine retirees and pensioners are set to receive a 2.58% automatic adjustment to their benefits in June, mirroring the country's inflation rate. This increase aligns with the 2.6% inflation recorded in April. In addition to the pension hike, beneficiaries will also receive the first installment of their annual bonus, known as the aguinaldo.

Those receiving the minimum pension will benefit from an additional extraordinary bonus of $70,000, a figure that has remained unchanged for over two years. This bonus is paid directly with their regular pension.

With these combined payments, the minimum pension in June, including the aguinaldo and the $70,000 bonus, will amount to $674,976.99. Retirees with higher pensions will receive proportional adjustments and aguinaldo payments, with the maximum pension reaching $4,070,922.27 after all components are included.

The aguinaldo payment is issued on the same day as the main pension benefit. The National Social Security Administration (Anses) distributes payments based on income level and the final digit of the national identity document, with schedules typically falling within the second, third, or fourth week of the month. Retirees are advised to consult the official Anses calendar for their specific payment date.
