A tragic accident in Argentina's Córdoba province has claimed the life of María Lucila Pagani, a 47-year-old academic, after her cellphone reportedly exploded while charging inside the vehicle she was traveling in. The unexpected explosion caused the driver to lose control of the car, leading to a collision with a culvert on provincial route E-53.

Pagani, who was a passenger in the Renault Sandero, sustained severe burns and respiratory injuries due to smoke inhalation. She was rushed to the Burn Institute but tragically died hours later. The driver of the vehicle, a 43-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and received medical attention.
