Argentine Executive Pablo Di Si to Take Key Role at Stellantis

Argentinian executive Pablo Di Si is set to return to a key automotive industry role, joining Stellantis as its Chief Performance Officer. This appointment, effective August 3, marks a significant move for Di Si, who previously held leadership positions at Volkswagen, including president of Volkswagen Argentina and Volkswagen Latin America, and CEO of Volkswagen Group North America.

In his new capacity, Di Si will report directly to Stellantis global CEO Antonio Filosa. His primary responsibility will be the execution of the Value Creation Program, a strategic initiative designed to help the automotive giant achieve its commercial goals. Filosa highlighted Di Si's extensive global leadership experience, operational discipline, and proven track record in building strong teams and driving performance in competitive markets.

The company also announced the appointment of Tianshu Xin as head of Stellantis's China and Asia-Pacific region, also effective August 3. Xin will continue in his role as CEO of Leapmotor International. Stellantis stated that these appointments are intended to bolster the executive team as the company pursues accelerated value creation and enhanced execution across its various business areas and regions.

Di Si's career at Volkswagen began in 2014. He rose through the ranks, eventually leading the company's operations in Argentina, where he was instrumental in securing investment for the production of the Volkswagen Taos SUV. He later moved to Brazil to lead Volkswagen in Latin America before heading Volkswagen Group of America. His move to Stellantis signals a new chapter in his distinguished career within the automotive sector.
