Argentine Pizzeria Ranks Among World's Best for Fifth Consecutive Year

An Argentine pizzeria has once again earned a spot among the world's elite pizza establishments, marking its fifth consecutive year of international acclaim. Ti Amo, located in Adrogué, Buenos Aires, was recognized by the prestigious 50 Top Pizza guide, securing the second-best position in Latin America and placing 21st in the global rankings for 2026.

Founded in late 2019 as a small, private project, Ti Amo has consistently impressed the international culinary scene. Sisters Carola and Vittoria Santoro are credited with maintaining the pizzeria's high standards. The guide highlighted Carola's "passion for dough" as the initial spark, leading to the decision to open a full-fledged pizzeria. The establishment is described as a tribute to Naples, featuring team scarves and images of Diego Maradona, all within a cozy environment where a "feminine touch makes the difference."

Experts lauded Ti Amo's popular Margherita and Sorrento pizzas, noting the latter's "distinctive lemon citrus touch." The guide also praised the "excellent service and a wide selection of drinks," calling it a must-visit for contemporary Neapolitan pizza enthusiasts. The pizzeria has seen a steady climb in the rankings, moving from 40th place in 2022 to 21st in 2025 and 2026.

While Ti Amo achieved significant recognition, other Argentine pizzerias also made the Latin American list, including Atte. Pizzería Napoletana in Palermo, Buenos Aires, noted for its reliable Neapolitan pizza offerings. Globally, the top spots were dominated by pizzerias from Italy and Japan, with joint first place awarded to I Masanielli in Italy and Una Pizza Napoletana in New York.
