Argentine rescue teams are now operating within the debris of La Guaira, diligently searching for survivors of the earthquakes that recently struck Venezuela. The Ministry of Defense of Argentina confirmed on Saturday that its specialized personnel have arrived and commenced operations in the designated areas.

In an official report, the ministry detailed that these specialists are working in direct coordination with local authorities and civilian rescue corps. The primary objective of this bilateral cooperation is to expedite the potential discovery of people alive beneath the collapsed structures. "A few hours after their arrival in Venezuela, our Armed Forces personnel began search and rescue tasks in the areas affected by the earthquakes, alongside local authorities and the emergency teams deployed on site," stated a release from the institution.

Visual reports from the deployment show rescuers engaged in their life-saving efforts. The personnel navigate unstable terrain, accompanied by trained dogs essential for locating buried individuals. These dogs are crucial for accelerating the marking process in destroyed residential areas. The Argentine contingent's preparation includes advanced training in shoring up and penetrating collapsed structures, skills they are now executing in tandem with their canine partners.

The contingent sent by Argentina joins a network of technical assistance from numerous countries that have mobilized resources to Venezuela.
