Armed forces reaffirm commitment to peace and national unity on Eidul Azha

Pakistan's top military officials conveyed Eidul Azha greetings to the nation on Wednesday, emphasizing their dedication to peace and national unity. The leadership, including Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of the Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, extended heartfelt felicitations.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the armed forces prayed for enduring peace, prosperity, and national unity. They acknowledged the resilience of the Pakistani people and honored the sacrifices made by martyrs, security personnel, law enforcement agencies, and citizens who have safeguarded the country.

Eidul Azha was described as a symbol of sacrifice, faith, and solidarity. The ISPR statement highlighted the armed forces' unwavering commitment to defending the nation's sovereignty and territorial integrity. "The Pakistan Armed Forces stand shoulder to shoulder with the nation in pursuit of peace and stability," the statement read. Special homage was also paid to the families of fallen soldiers, whose sacrifices were noted as strengthening the nation's foundations.
