Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kamala Harris, an unusual pair for the environment

Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris shared a stage in Vienna, appearing as an unlikely pair to champion environmental causes at the tenth edition of the Austrian World Summit.

The summit, an initiative founded by Schwarzenegger, brought together global leaders and experts to address pressing climate challenges. The collaboration between the Republican former governor and the Democratic former vice president highlighted a shared commitment to environmental action, transcending political divides.

Schwarzenegger, a long-time advocate for climate action, founded the Austrian World Summit in 2017 to foster international cooperation on sustainability. Harris, who has made climate change a key focus of her political career, joined the event to lend her support to global environmental efforts.

Also present at the summit was Schwarzenegger's partner since 2012, Heather Milligan, who has also been involved in various philanthropic and environmental initiatives.
