Around 30 Degrees: Summery Weather This Weekend - Where Showers Are Possible

Residents of Saxony are in for a warm summer weekend, with temperatures set to climb, offering a pleasant break from cooler weather.

On Saturday, the German Weather Service (DWD) forecasts temperatures between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius, reaching 20 to 24 degrees in the mountainous regions. The day will be mostly sunny with some clouds, and generally dry. However, a slight chance of showers exists in the eastern parts of the state during the afternoon.

Overnight into Sunday, clear skies are expected, with temperatures dropping to a mild 9 to 15 degrees Celsius. Sunday promises even warmer conditions, with highs reaching 28 to 31 degrees Celsius, and 23 to 27 degrees in the highlands. While sunshine will dominate, some clouds may appear, and the DWD indicates a very low probability of afternoon showers.

Looking ahead to Monday, the weather pattern is expected to continue with partly cloudy skies and highs similar to the weekend, around 28 to 31 degrees Celsius. Isolated showers or thunderstorms might occur, particularly in higher elevations during the afternoon.
