Around 7.5 million soms allocated for excavations at Kuznechnaya Fortress settlement

The Kyrgyz Scientific Research Project Institute "Kyrgyzrestavratsiya" is seeking bids for archaeological excavations at the ancient settlement known as Kuznechnaya Fortress. The institute has allocated approximately 7.5 million Kyrgyz soms for this scientific endeavor, according to the state procurement portal. Bids from interested suppliers will be accepted until June 26.

This initiative aims to uncover and preserve historical artifacts and information from the Kuznechnaya Fortress site. The funding underscores a commitment to archaeological research and the study of Kyrgyzstan's rich historical past.

In parallel, the Republican Inspectorate for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments has launched another tender. This one focuses on scientific research related to the Paleolithic era across Kyrgyzstan. A budget of 1.685 million soms has been set aside for this project, with supplier proposals due by June 30. These efforts highlight Kyrgyzstan's dedication to exploring and safeguarding its ancient heritage.
