Arsenal draw Barcelona as Chelsea and Manchester City receive tough Champions League schedules

Arsenal will meet defending champions Barcelona in the league phase of the 2026/27 Women’s Champions League, bringing two of last season’s strongest teams together at the start of the competition.

The draw also handed Arsenal matches against OL Lyonnes, Benfica, Paris FC, HB Koge and Inter Milan. The six-match league phase runs from September 22 to December 16.

Chelsea face Paris Saint-Germain and OL Lyonnes, as well as Roma, BK Hacken, Austria Wien and OH Leuven. Manchester City, returning to the competition for the first time since the 2024/25 season, will play PSG, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, BK Hacken, Austria Wien and Inter Milan.

Matchday 1 is scheduled for September 22 and 23, followed by fixtures on September 30 and October 1. Further rounds will take place in October and November before the final league-phase matches on December 16. The knockout play-offs are set for February 2027, with the quarter-finals in March and April and the semi-finals in May.

The final will be played on May 28, 29 or 30, 2027, at Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw.
