The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of holiness, and God calls for sinners to wash their hearts and purify their minds.

Wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long shall your evil thoughts lodge within you?

The Bible repeatedly emphasizes God's holiness, with angels crying "Holy, holy, holy" to the Lord of hosts. This divine attribute is declared three times, more than any other aspect of God's nature, highlighting its supreme importance. God's holiness adorns His house and is the most distinguishing aspect of His person and personality.

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Jesus is presented as the way, the truth, and the life, but the path to God's Promised Land is the way of holiness. The Bible calls believers not only to be partakers of God's divine nature but also of His holiness. This divine refrain of "holy, holy, holy" has echoed in heaven for centuries, underscoring its eternal significance.

Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him.

When the prophet Isaiah witnessed the glory of the preincarnate Christ, he pronounced woe upon himself, recognizing his own uncleanness. He declared, "Woe is me! For I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts." This profound encounter with divine holiness reveals the transformative power of God's presence and the absolute necessity of purity for those who draw near to Him.
