Asan Foundation Chairman Chung Mong-joon donates $360,000 to Jeon Tae-il Scholarship Fund

Chung Mong-joon, chairman of the Asan Social Welfare Foundation, has donated 500 million won (approximately $360,000 USD) to the Jeon Tae-il, Lee So-sun Scholarship Foundation. The foundation announced the receipt of the scholarship funds on Tuesday. The significant contribution was reportedly prompted by an invitation extended to Jeong Soon-ok, a director at the scholarship foundation, to give a congratulatory speech at the Asan Foundation's scholarship award ceremony in February.
