ASE Group volunteers accompany 120 children for a joyful summer day at amusement park

ASE Group, a leading semiconductor packaging and testing company, hosted a vibrant "Volunteer Paradise Day" as part of its eight-day employee family event, bringing joy to 120 children from Family Support Foundations. The initiative, organized by the ASE Volunteer Society, extended its reach this year to include children from Yunlin, in addition to the North Taichung and Changhua centers.

Volunteers from ASE, numbering 105, were joined by 15 additional volunteers from affiliated companies within the Central Taiwan Science Park. Each child was paired with a dedicated volunteer, ensuring personalized attention and fostering a memorable summer experience. The event aimed to spread care and create lasting happy memories for the participating children, many of whom come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

This year's event also featured a special collaboration with the "Boliou" sheltered workshop, which produced "Little ASE" mascot sun hats. This initiative not only provided the children with charming accessories but also offered practical support for the employment of individuals with disabilities. The cute and eye-catching designs were a hit among the children, who were delighted with their new hats.

ASE Group's commitment to supporting Family Support Foundations spans 26 years, during which the company has accumulated donations exceeding NT$100 million. This long-standing relationship began after the 921 earthquake, with ASE initiating the "Hundred Yuan Club" to gather employee contributions. Beyond general support, ASE provides scholarships each semester to children from single-parent and grandparent-raising households, encouraging their academic pursuits and fostering their future success. The smiles of the children are seen as the most beautiful reward for the company's continued dedication to public welfare.
