Astrologer Annie Tang Shares Heartfelt Farewell to Beloved Cat of 15 Years

Astrologer Annie Tang is grieving the loss of her cherished cat, Mi Jiang, who passed away after 15 years together. Tang recently shared her emotional state, revealing she has cleaned the litter box in anticipation of Mi Jiang's return on the seventh day after its passing. She hopes the cat will leave two small paw prints, fulfilling a "final promise" they made, a sentiment that has deeply moved many online. Tang expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and companionship she received after Mi Jiang's death, recognizing the significant love and influence the cat had. She recalled that Mi Jiang was able to eat and walk normally before its passing, leaving within 12 hours of her return home, which Tang considers a peaceful and fortunate farewell. The cat's memorial service was attended by many friends and colleagues, with Tang humorously describing the scene as comparable to a "gangster boss's" send-off. Before cremation, attendees had the chance to touch and speak to Mi Jiang. Tang personally groomed the cat and burned offerings, wishing it a good life in the afterlife with canned food and a mansion. Although still saddened by memories, Tang accepted an offer from a manufacturer to create a diamond from Mi Jiang's fur. This will allow them to remain together permanently, closer than ever. Tang also plans to use the cat's shed fur to create a felt craft or small pillow, further cherishing its memory.
