At Least 10 Killed in Russian Attacks Across Ukraine

Russian attacks overnight on several Ukrainian cities have resulted in at least 10 fatalities and dozens of injuries, according to reports from local authorities cited by the BBC.

The capital city, Kyiv, was hit by missiles and drones, killing at least four people and injuring 51. Explosions were heard throughout the night and into the morning across eight districts of the city. In the Podilskyi district, some residents were trapped under rubble after the upper floors of a nine-story building were partially damaged. Rescue operations are ongoing, and an air raid alert remains in effect.

Further south, the city of Dnipro also suffered significant damage. Attacks in the early morning hours killed six people and wounded 36. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure in Dnipro sustained damage. The full extent of the casualties and destruction is still being assessed as emergency services continue their work.
