At least 8 vehicles burn in 3 separate incidents in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua; authorities investigate causes

Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua – Authorities are investigating a series of vehicle fires that occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning, destroying at least eight vehicles across three separate incidents. The fires prompted responses from the local fire department in various sectors of the city.

The first incident was reported around 3:25 a.m. in the Barrio Alto neighborhood, where a vehicle caught fire on Oro Street. Firefighters responded to extinguish the blaze.

Later, five vehicles were set ablaze outside an MG car dealership on Ejército Nacional Avenue. Firefighters and a water tender were dispatched to control the flames. The State Attorney General's Office is investigating the cause, with unofficial reports suggesting former employees might be involved. In a third incident, two vehicles were engulfed in flames in the Eréndira neighborhood. In total, the three incidents involved eight vehicles, but no injuries were reported.
