Auckland FC claims inaugural OFC Pro League title, secures multiple individual awards

Auckland FC celebrated a historic night at Eden Park, clinching the inaugural OFC Pro League championship. The club's dominance was further recognized with multiple individual accolades presented after their final match.

As well as receiving a winner’s medal, Auckland FC midfielder Daniel Normann was presented with the Golden Ball Award for the best player of the inaugural OFC Pro League season.

Despite having had his Pro League campaign cut short in the semi-finals four days earlier, Vanuatu United FC striker Alex Saniel was present at Eden Park to collect the Golden Boot Award for the top goalscorer of the season.

Striker Alex Saniel of Vanuatu United FC earned the Golden Boot, finishing as the competition's top scorer with 11 goals. Despite his campaign ending early due to injury, Saniel's performance secured him the award over his nearest competitor.

On top of lifting the trophy, young Auckland FC goalkeeper Oscar Mason was also awarded the Golden Glove for the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

Young goalkeeper Oscar Mason of Auckland FC received the Golden Glove for his outstanding performance between the posts. Mason kept eight clean sheets, showcasing experience beyond his 21 years and playing a vital role in Auckland's league-best defense. The club also received the Fair Play Award, highlighting their strong disciplinary record throughout the season.
