Audio Guides Enhance Visitor Experience at Kyrgyzstan's Sulaiman-Too Complex

The Sulaiman-Too National Historical and Archaeological Museum Complex in Osh, Kyrgyzstan, has taken a significant step towards modernizing its visitor services with the installation of an audio guide system. This initiative, spearheaded by the complex's director, Mederbek Aparhanov, aims to enrich the cultural and historical experience for both local and international tourists. By placing QR codes at various points of interest, including the main museum, cave museum, and other significant sites on the sacred mountain, visitors can now easily access detailed information in Kyrgyz, Russian, or English. This move is particularly welcome as the complex prepares for a major reconstruction, supported by a substantial $12 million grant from the World Bank's tourism development project. The audio guides not only provide convenient access to information but also reflect Kyrgyzstan's growing commitment to preserving and promoting its rich cultural heritage on a global stage. This technological enhancement ensures that the stories and significance of Sulaiman-Too, a UNESCO World Heritage site, are more accessible and engaging than ever before, offering a deeper connection to the region's history and spirituality.
