Autopsy findings prove Rojin Kabaiş was drugged and paralyzed before murder, lawyer claims

A lawyer representing the family of Rojin Kabaiş, a university student who disappeared and was later found dead, has presented new findings from the autopsy report, asserting they prove she was murdered.

These findings prove that she was drugged and murdered by paralyzing her respiration.

Abdurrahman Karabulut, the family's lawyer, stated that the autopsy revealed the presence of Rocuronium in Kabaiş's stomach and internal organs, and Ornidazole in her stomach. He argued that these substances, particularly Rocuronium, a potent muscle relaxant that can cause paralysis, indicate she was drugged and had her breathing capacity intentionally impaired.

Kabaiş, a 21-year-old student at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, vanished after leaving her dormitory on September 27, 2024. Her body was discovered 18 days later, on October 15, 2024, along the shore of Lake Van. The circumstances surrounding her death were initially considered suspicious, prompting an investigation.

The presence of Ornidazole, an antibiotic normally used to treat infections, and Rocuronium, a lethal muscle relaxant impossible to obtain outside an operating room that paralyzes breathing muscles in seconds, in the stomach has clarified the course of the event.

Karabulut highlighted the medical impossibility of Rocuronium, which has a short half-life, being present in a fresh state weeks after a reported surgery on September 11. He concluded that the forensic data strongly suggests Kabaiş was administered Ornidazole and Rocuronium through ingestion shortly before her body was found, leading to her death. The lawyer asserted that these findings irrefutably prove she was murdered by having her breathing paralyzed.

These forensic data; prove that our client was drugged via her stomach with Ornidazole and especially Rocuronium by persons who had access to these chemicals, and was murdered by paralyzing her respiration, shortly before her body was found on October 15.
