Avianca offers special fares to Venezuela amid earthquake crisis

Avianca has launched special fares for travel to Venezuela, available until July 10, to assist individuals needing to travel following the recent earthquakes. The airline aims to facilitate movement for those impacted by the humanitarian emergency and support the transport of rescue teams and humanitarian aid.

The promotional fares apply to routes connecting various destinations with Venezuela. Travelers can check flight and seat availability through Avianca's official sales channels. The initiative comes in response to the crisis triggered by two significant earthquakes that struck the country on June 24.

"Given the current situation in Venezuela, we have adapted our operations and enabled temporary flights to Valencia to ensure your mobility, protect your travel plans, and continue transporting rescue teams and humanitarian cargo with our allies," Avianca announced on Instagram. The airline also stated it would transport "rescuers, medical personnel, and humanitarian cargo to Valencia, Venezuela, to support rescue efforts and emergency response."

To access the special fares, passengers must purchase tickets through Avianca's official website, where discounts are automatically applied to eligible flights. Avianca advises travelers to review Venezuela's entry requirements before their journey and will continue monitoring the situation to adjust its operations as needed.
